New Post
The New Year is seven days old now, so I figure I should bump the New Year's Dog off the top post on the blog. There's nothing new to report really, everything mentioned in the posts below about Hong Kong and stuff is still on hold. Everyone involved was on holidays so we're in a bit of a holding pattern on that, you'll be the first to know once something/anything happens.
We installed new carpet las week, and then spent the weekend putting in new tile backsplash in the kitchen. We'll grout it tomorrow and then it'll look fabulous I'm sure. I'll post pictures so y'all can see it (as I'm sure you're dieing to).
The weather here as been a bit roller-coastery lately. We were at -17 on thursday now we're up to +12. And there are few things more dreary than Toronto on a cool, wet winter day. I'm really beginning to regret getting a fluffy (i.e. absorbant) white dog. And the change in weather, or something, has caused my skin to stop working properly again. The fingers are not too bad (just bleeding a bit here and there), but now i've got red blotches. Attractive eh? I want to go bathe in calamine lotion.
So that's me bitching about things already for 2008. How's your year going so far?
