For Once in My Life
No big update regarding the move (or not) to Hong Kong. Almost without exception people have thought it's a good idea for us. Usually they say something like "oh, I'd hate to see you go, but you really should." or as in the case of Steve "Go."
But there is much to consider and to reflect on. For once in my life I want to have all the facts in hand before making a choice, as opposed to the other way I usually do it (decide now justify later). And there is much to consider. Jobs, visas, the condo, the car, the dog, money etc. etc. But nothing will get decided before the holidays are over . But once they are things will probably happen quite quickly. It's a bit exciting really, and terrifying in equal measures.
Given that, for once in my life, I'm trying to be a bit more, um, reasoned about this, i thought I would share a bit of music with you. This is not a Christmas song, but it is one of the more beautiful jazz standards, and sung by one of the best singers to ever grace the stage in my uninformed opinion.
