I know I said I wouldn't...
I know I said i wouldn't blog about work here, but I am breaking the rule - but sans editorial comments. The woman I work for, the director of the department, has resigned. The next day another person resigned. So now, in a department of 11, I'm the fourth most senior person (I've been with the firm 6 months today). All this turmoil means is that we're all pretty much untouchable. The events coordinator and I were speculating that we could fuck on the headtable at the firm Christmas party and still have jobs on Monday morning. As I pointed out, there's now nobody in my department with the authority to fire anyone.
