Holidays Part 2
Er, so where was I?
ah who cares. so yah Christmas and the let down. it was fun really, but it can never measure up to that Hallmark Card, Coke bottle version we're fed for months before hand. See wasn't that succinct? Wow I'm long winded sometimes ('Sometimes' i hear you exclaim!! just sometimes????) shaddup.
So here we are on the penultimate day of the year. Tomorrow we're off to Kevin & PJ's for a wee dinner then who knows what. We just can't get energized about the whole big hoo-haa party thing. The idea of spending money to get into bars we'd normally get in for free, and then being crowded and annoyed, ugh, just doesn't appeal. Fuck i sound like such a curmudgeon.
Not really feeling curmudgeonly. Just busy with work(s) and stuff. trying to keep my head screwed on. realising that after the holidays i HAVE to lose some weight. I've eaten and drank waaaay too much this season. But i'm looking forward to it really. just looking forward to having a normal schedule back.
